About Bandiniser

Help & support

Get Bandiniser set up on your device, choose how you hear about changes, and understand what you can do when you’re offline.

Install on your device

You can use Bandiniser in your browser without installing anything. Installing it on a supported device adds an icon so you can open your diary directly. Open the website in your usual browser first; an email or messaging app’s built-in preview may not offer installation.

iPhone or iPad
  1. Open Bandiniser in Safari.
  2. Open Share. Depending on your Safari layout, this may be inside the page menu.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen. If Open as Web App is offered, leave it switched on, then tap Add.
  4. Open Bandiniser using the new Home Screen icon and sign in if asked.

Push notifications on iPhone and iPad require a Home Screen web app and a supported system version (iOS/iPadOS 16.4 or later). Adding the icon does not itself give permission for notifications. Apple’s installation guide

Android
  1. Open Bandiniser in Chrome.
  2. Open the menu beside the address bar. Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install. Some versions use an Install app or Add to Home screen label instead.
  3. Follow the browser’s prompts, then open Bandiniser using the new icon.

Menu labels vary with browser and version. If installation isn’t offered, you can keep using the website. Google’s web app guide

Computer or another browser

Use Bandiniser in a normal browser window. If your browser offers an Install action in its address bar or menu, you can use it to add an app shortcut. Installation and push support vary by browser; an absent install button does not stop you using the online diary.

Choose your notifications

Open My profile to manage email and push notifications. They are separate choices: changing one does not switch the other on or off.

  • Notification emails: choose whether to receive availability requests/reminders and event changes. These choices apply across your bands. Security and invitation emails are separate.
  • Push notifications: choose Enable on this device, then allow notifications when your browser asks. Repeat on each device where you want them. On iPhone/iPad, open the installed Home Screen app first.
  • In-app notices: you can still check the notification bell and diary when email or push is switched off.
Open My profile (sign in if needed)
I enabled push but nothing appears

Check that you enabled it on the device you’re using, and that the browser or app still has notification permission. If you previously chose Block, change that permission in the browser’s site settings or your device’s notification settings before trying Enable again.

Also check your device’s Focus/Do Not Disturb settings. A supported browser, working connection and permission are all needed; enabling push does not send a test alert automatically. You can continue to use the diary and its notification bell while you check these settings.

Read your diary offline

Open Bandiniser while connected and signed in so it can save a diary snapshot. It covers the previous month, the current month and the next 3 months, including saved event details and calendars for your active bands.

  • Read saved plans: a saved copy can be kept for up to 7 days. Band access can make it expire sooner, and your browser can remove saved data.
  • Reconnect for current information: bookings, replies or changes made since the last refresh may be missing. Check the saved-copy time before relying on it.
  • Connect to make changes: adding/editing events and sending replies need a connection. Offline edits are not saved to send later.
  • Signing out clears saved diary access: sign in and reconnect to refresh it. Switching accounts also clears the previous account’s saved diary.
I’m offline but can’t see any saved dates

Reconnect, sign in, and open the diary again. A saved copy may be absent if this device has not refreshed online, you signed out, its saved data expired, band access ended, or the browser cleared storage. Installing the app alone does not guarantee that a diary snapshot has been saved.

Account and band access

I can’t sign in

Use the email address for your Bandiniser account. If you’ve forgotten your password, request a password-reset link and check your inbox and junk folder. Use the newest link you receive. Don’t create a second account just to reach a band you already belong to.

Request a password-reset link
My invitation expired or my band is missing

Ask the band’s account holder or the person who invited you for a fresh personal invitation. If you already have an account, use that account’s email for the invitation. Leaving or being removed from a band does not delete your account. If a shared invitation link offers Request a new link, that sends a request to the original inviter; it does not rejoin the band immediately.

The diary is read only or unavailable

The band’s account holder manages its subscription. Ask them to open Subscription and billing and check the band’s access. Paying for another band does not renew this one. An ordinary member can keep using their own account and any other bands they belong to.

Still need help?

Email [email protected]. Include your band’s name, what you were trying to do, what happened, and the device/browser you’re using. A screenshot of the problem can help if it doesn’t expose private information.

Never send your password, authenticator codes, recovery codes or payment-card details. Sending an email does not change a booking, reply or subscription; use the diary for those actions.
